Today we're taking a look at a Roadmaster Brakemaster custom seat adaptor. This unit really helps simplify the installation and ensures proper positioning of your supplemental braking system in your towed vehicle. It lets you go from towing to driving in under a minute, and the brake system can be removed quickly and easily. The bar or the adaptor itself remains hidden beneath the seat when it's not in use. There's no need to remove it and store it. You can see here that it's going to contour to the floor for a nice, tight, customized fit.

Exactly as advertised. Installation was easy and only took a few minutes
The RM-88291 seat mounting plate for the breakaway system is a must. I do not recommend using the plate that requires drilling into the floor when you can use this adapter and save time. And it does not get in the way when not in use. Again, thanks for providing a great product.
Fit my 2017 Wrangler perfectly
I purchased this seat adapter for the RoadMaster air brake system for my 2014 F150. The seat adapter is required for proper positioning of the air brake cylinder. The etrailer web site was helpful in identifying the correct part number and this part was delivered to my home quickly. I have not yet installed the seat adapter but the instructions seem straight forward.

This is a must have as I was transferring my breaking system from a jeep to a Ford F150. The roadmaster system works so well.

I bought this part because I had an air operated cylinder from my last jeep.

Tracking was difficult, no notifications. Then to find out there was duties to be paid. I was not impressed.
There is no torque specs on the installation guide. Oh well I will have to figure something out.

The product is fine. Shipping took 5 days longer than expected. The biggest issue is when I went order I was told I had the wrong seat bracket in my cart so I switched it to the one Etrailer recommended. Turned out I had the correct one all along and Etrailer said I had to pay for shipping the wrong part they recommended back.
Chris was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He spent time with me to make sure I ordered the correct parts needed. etrailer is an excellent company, I will definitely refer people to your company

This is the second time I've bought products to flat tow a truck behind our motor home .Parts came within 3 days of ordering ,everything in good order should work out as before, good instructions, parts look good, great company excellent to work with, easy to get a hold of for help with questions.
Works well but gets in the way of the floor mat on the 2020 ram 1500.
